Scope of the event
Structural battery composites combine mechanical strength and electrical energy storage in a single multifunctional material. By integrating carbon fiber electrodes and solid electrolytes into load-bearing structures, these materials can reduce vehicle weight and increase electric vehicle range.
This workshop explores electrochemical performance, mechanical trade-offs, safety standards, and automotive integration strategies.
The goal is to accelerate adoption of multifunctional energy materials.
